The staff at GHS was recently trained on the administration of Naloxone (Narcan), which is used to reverse an opioid overdose. A volunteer from Portland Public Health provided the training to staff which included recognizing and responding to an opioid emergency. Additionally, Portland Public Health will be providing Naloxboxes for the storage of Narcan at GHS.
